Uniforms, Corporate wear Protective Clothing - VAUXHALL MOTORS

Over the years pcl have supplied Vauxhall Motors with various items of corporate clothing. When the plant in Luton was closing we were asked to supply a large quantity of bespoke casual jackets, subtly branded with the Vauxhall Griffon, as a good-bye gift for their staff.

pcl have an ongoing relationship with various divisions within Vauxhall and have been supplying workwear for their  Warehouse Operation which is still located in Luton since 1999.

For many years Vauxhall used a laundry service for their workwear. However this was becoming increasingly expensive sp pcl were approached to discuss a better solution for Vauxhall’s requirements.

We suggested a number of options and it was decided that Vauxhall would change from the traditional bib and brace overalls, to polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleece jackets and a combat work trouser. They also decided to supply the management with an oxford shirt/ blouse. All garments were embroidered with the Vauxhall logo and  the employee’s name.

The contract was put out to tender and pcl were subsequently selected to supply the uniform.

Our fitting team made several visits to the Vauxhall warehouse in order to discuss the sizing and style of the new uniform with each individual staff member (including the night shift staff!). This ensured that were happy with their choice of garment and that they were ordering the correct size.

This contract in reviewed on a regular basis and we are currently in the process of organising measuring sessions for the next roll-out! Vauxhall are still very happy with their choice of garments which are always in excellent shape even at the end of each contract!
